Account Manager - 12 mth Contract
Salary: €30-35K (doe)
Our client, a large multi-national company based in Dublin North is currently seeking an experienced Account Manager as part of a 12 month contract period.
Duties:
- The customer account manager will be the customer’s main point of contact on a day today basis.
- Responsible for overseeing that all customer’s orders and piece parts are managed efficiently
- Responsible for all Order Entry and Bom configuration for their assigned customers, and those they are asked to cover from time to time.
- Customer quotations and feedback.
- Price Matrix maintenance.
- Responsible for ensuring all customer’s queries and issues are answered in a timely manner.
- To work closely with the planning and scheduling departments, in working with the customers forecasts and to help them plan for new launches, concentrating on giving planning as much upfront information as possible.
- Responsible for the customers age debt, making sure that any invoice queries are dealt with immediately, so as not to impact any payments.
- Responsible for administering all credit and debit notes.
- To develop and sustain a working relationship with all departments
- To develop your customers business, by frequently meeting with them and discussing their requirements while looking for new business opportunities.
- Responsible for Customer Quarterly Business Meetings.
- Accurate and timely pricing and billing to Customers.
- Responsibility to be ?Cost Effective?, making sure that the customer is invoiced for all extra costs incurred with their orders, while looking at other opportunities to charge the customer, such as opening weekends, specifically to produce their orders.
- Responsible for carrying out NBI’s - New Business Introduction Meetings. This will ensure that if your customer has a new product about to launch that all relevant departments are informed and any issues or concerns are dealt with before the order goes live.
- Communicating any issues with customer’s orders or deliveries to the customer in a timely manner, which will ensure as little impact to the customer’s business as possible.
- Communicating any piece part or BOM issues with the customer in a timely manner, to ensure as little impact to the customers order as possible.
- Customer presentations.
- Internal and external reporting.
- Maintain procedural documentation for each customer
Requirements:
- A third level business qualification or suitable relevant industry experience, be an excellent communicator and have strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks and ability to work in a team environment.
Ideally candidates will have relevant experience in an account management/interface role between clients and operations.
