Our client, a leading logistics company is looking to recruit a Shipping Administrator. The ideal candidate will have experience in a shipping administrator role in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment with training in the handling of hazardous goods.

Responsibilities

· Foster and develop good relations with client to ensure retention and growth.

· Liaise with colleagues and client to ensure the department is proactive in providing a quality operational performance.

· Creating export documentation as required by client/destination for export shipments by all modes of transport

· Day to day operations in a busy office environment to include dealing with customer.

· Ensure all export documentation requirements are met in time for shipment despatch/export.

· Ensure accuracy of paperwork/documentation is top quality.

· Establish a good working relationship with the team and customer.

· Ensure that all tariffs are kept up to date on the system.

· Proactive participation and adherence to the Company’s QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health & Environ) system.

· Working in a busy fast paced environment.

· Managing your performance via Key Performance Indicators as discussed with your manager.
