I currently have an exciting role as a Microbiologist:
- Primarily working in the microbiology laboratory but will also assist in the Biochemistry laboratory.
- Performing and reporting on all water analysis, chemical and microbiological.
- Raw material testing including pH, conductivity and bioburden testing.
- In-process testing by bioburden and endotoxin analysis.
- Performing environmental monitoring, documenting and trending results.
- Method Validation.
- Laboratory equipment qualification / calibration.
- Sample dispatch to contract laboratories and review of reports received.
- Ensure that laboratory practices and documentation meet the current requirements of GMP.
- Standard operating procedure generation and review for both Microbiology and Biochemistry laboratories.
- Implementing GLP and ensuring that all laboratory practices are in compliance with GLP
- General laboratory duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree/ Diploma in Microbiology.
- Experience-1 year?s industrial experience working in a GMP environment preferable.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of GLP/GMP desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the QC team.
